The designers, Ange and Amy, have a background in screen printing, textiles and interior design for large residential developments.
They both struggled to find outdoor fabrics with style... or stylish fabrics with durability. With that goal in mind, The Long Weekend was born.
The girls set about developing a stylish range of textiles that could be used by the pool, on the deck and generally withstand the demands of a busy family home.
Perhaps the most striking difference in their work comes from the design process itself: Ange and Amy begin by painting with watercolours to create that dreamy weekend feel.
